I stayed at Great Harwoods B and B for 6 nights. I loved my stay here. Ailsa and her family are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely. It is a beautiful old house with a great fire in the living room when it is cold, and a lovely conservatory when it is sunny. I would thouroughly reccommend tthis accomodation to anyone looking to stay in East Grinstead.

WE HAVE JUST HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL WEEKEND WITH AILSA AND HER FAMILY.GORGOUS HOME AND AREA.BREAKFAST TO DIE FOR ,PARTICULARLY SCRAMBLED EGGS.LOVED THE ROOM DIDN`T WANT TO LEAVE SO SOON.WILL BE BACK.DIANE AND GRAEME HALL

I stayed for 2 and a half years; seriously. Anyone working away from home for any length of time (as I did) will realise the pressures and isolation it can bring but the friendship of David, Ailsa, the family and banter with other long term guests made the sacrafice of normal home life a lot more bearable; in fact Great Harwoods felt quite like home more than a second home. The farmhouse stands in beautiful country surroundings but only a short walk from some great pubs and only 15 minutes walk into town. Even the winter months are a treat with a log fire always welcoming and in the summer the garden is a delight, particularly after a long day in the office. I write this review for 2 reasons, firstly to say thank you to David and Ailsa but also as a very strong recommendation to anyone finding themselves in my position and looking for a home from home.

We've been coming back to stay at Great Harwoods for over a year now and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Ailsa and David are lovely hosts who always offer us a warm welcome. The B&B is situated in a beautiful country setting and has bags of character with a very homely feel. Each of the rooms have a one off style and are very comfy and clean. I love the way Ailsa has added lots of one off touches around the farm like a grapevine going through the breakfast conservatory and hot muffins for when you arrive. The breakfast is really varied and all fresh and organic. We always thoroughly enjoy our stay at Great Harwoods and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thank you Ailsa and David for always making us feel at home. Looking forward to seeing you in May.

This was a delightful place to stay and we enjoyed 3 nights in the self-catering accommodation with delicious breakfasts in the sunny conservatory of the main house. Ailsa was brilliant dealing with dietry problems and went out of her way to help, and the family made us very welcome.. Highly recommended by us.

Ailsa made us feel very welcome, gave us a lovely room and wonderful breakfasts. This is a lovely place to stay, close to town yet with the feel of being out in the country. Highly recommended.

We have just spent 3 fantastic nights at Great Harwoods Farm. Thankyou so much for your friendly welcome and wonderful breakfast (and muffins)! My daughter Farrell had a great time swimming in the pool. We will definately be coming again now that we have discovered you.

Thank you for a lovely stay Ailsa, we couldn't have felt more welcome. Clean, homely and a fantastic breakfast. A shame it was just for one night but we'll try and come back for longer.

This is an absolutley excellent bed and breakfast.
Everything is sparkling and clean, the service is amazing and Ailsa works exceptionally hard to make you feel welcome and to make your stay enjoyable.
I could not recomend this place enough and I will be directing anyone who needs a place to stay in the South East here.

Sadly we were only able to stay for one night and would have loved to stay longer.We were very pleased with the decor and cleanliness of the room and the extra little touches which make staying here so special.Ailsa provides such a warm welcome and a fantastic breakfast.We can highly recommend a visit to Great Harwoods Farm for a relaxing break.

Thank you for such a memorable stay. Ailsa, you were so kind and caring when Hymie was ill, making all the arrangements and appointments. I cannot thank you enough. It is a delight to be in your home, everything is so wonderful, from the most delicious hot breakfast every day, to the chocolates in the room and the roaring wood fire was the cherry on the top.I have stayed in your B & B many times before and look forward to coming again, it is without a shadow of doubt the BEST.

Recently stayed 2 nights (5th March - 7th March).
Enjoyed a really relaxing stay. Comfortable rooms and beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We were made to feel really welcome during our stay and we were fed excellent home cooked food. Thankyou for a lovely weekend.
